Ige Ramos is an award-winning book designer, food writer, and visual artist. In 2016 he established the IRDS-Republic of Taste Food Network, a platform for publishing and independent research in comparative gastronomy and food history. He is the former president of the Culinary Historians of the Philippines and an active member of Slow Food Manila Convivium and The Philippine Culinary Heritage Movement.
